In this section of the website, we share stories from women, feminine identifying and non-binary people with disabilities. Here, we celebrate strengths and resilience in navigating life's challenges and opportunities. We also share the reality of some harder experiences. Each story is a tribute to our courage and unique journeys.
Join us as we share these voices, you might like to submit a story too.

Are you a woman, girl, feminine identifying or non-binary person with disabilities that lives in Australia and likes to write, create, or make videos or podcasts? You are invited to be part of our storytelling community. Join us in experiencing the power of telling and sharing your story.
Neve our stories is a place for the Neve audience and WWDA members to connect, share, and learn more about each other. If you are a woman, girl, or feminine identifying or non-binary person with disabilities and have a story to share, please send your pitch to neve@wwda.org.au. Your pitch should be between 50-100 words describing your story and how you would like to share it.
We strongly encourage submissions from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, people with experiences of incarceration or institutionalisation, LGBTQIA+ people and people with intellectual disability. WWDA will be reserving space for these voices.
Neve believes strongly in paying women and gender-diverse people for their work and as such, can offer $100 for you to share your story.
